I am currently a senior at Rich South High School, standing 5'11 middle and outside with strong blocking and hitting skills. I started playing volleyball in 7th grade at Collin Powell Middle school. Knowing nothing about how to play at the time, I was one of the top players on the team. After a few games, I fell in love with the sport. I have achieved one of my short term goals by becoming a first team, SICA 2012 All Conference girls’ volleyball player. I have played on the varsity level since freshman year, and starting as the middle blocker both my sophomore and junior year. I enjoy leading and motivating my teammates. I wish to continue to develop my skills and become a student athlete at a university soon. I aspire to play Olympic volleyball someday. .
My goals as a student in college, is to study Pharmacy or Physical Therapy and to be close home. Becoming Pharmacist or a Physical Therapist has been a dream of mine since I was little, and it is really important to me to learn the trade so I will be able to help others.
My goals, as an athlete is to keep improving my skills so I can contribute to a college team. I would love the opportunity to become a college player who will have a great positive impact on the volleyball team, and university.
