Sydney Volovski '12 Recruiting Profile

Please see my skills video in the Schedule/Press section. I was a 3 yr. starter for my high school varsity team as an outside hitter. This is my second year as a captain. My three years on varsity I recieved 3 All-Tournament awards, 2 All- Area and 1 second team All-Area award 2 MVP awards and was All- Conference. I was the starting OH on my High School Sophomore team as a Freshman and voted "Most Improved Player". As a Sophomore I started as an OH for my High School Varsity team and finished with the highest hitting percentage. I will be playing for Sports Performance in Aurora, IL. again this year at the 18 yr old level on 18 White. Last year I was the starting RS for 18 Blue. The first year of club I was a middle for 14 Storm. The second year I started out as an OH and was moved to RS for 15 White. So I have experience at both sides. I've been told I'm very coachable. I'm 5'11" and I'm 142lbs. I have a 69" wingspan and a 9'10" jump touch. I'm looking for a school that can provide me with a great education in the major of my choice (currently undecided), and also give me the chance to compete at a high level.
