Ashton Lee '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashton Lee. I am a 6' 1" Senior.  I have been playing volleyball since I was in third grade. I have always had a passion for the game and have always had a goal of playing in college. I was nominated to the first team All Area Volleyball All Stars Team 2013 and also was selected by my teammates as best offensive and best defensive player for the 2013 season. This year my team ended the season with a 33-4 record.  I was selected to two all tournament teams and I received the award for best offensive player of the year.  I finished my 2014 season with a kill percentage of .359.  Post season I was selected to the first team All Conference Team as well as the first team All Area All Stars Team 2014 (Illinois).   I was also selected to the first team Bi-State (Iowa-Illinois) All Area Team. I have always played middle, but I am a well-rounded player that can also hit outside and I excel in passing and back row play.  I am a team player and a positive force on any team I play on. I am energetic, enthusiastic and vocal on the court.  I am a 4.0 student with a very good drive in academics and I am well known for my strong character.  My goal is to play for a team that is very competitive and offers me a chance to grow, however, I also want to be part of a team where I will be able to contribute and play.
