Kathryn Blake '11 Recruiting Profile

DETERMINED, would be the best word to describe myself. I always strive to do better. I am 6 foot 1 and have been a three sport athlete since my sixth grade year. I love the environment the Athletic Sports Program offers for young players like myself. My coaches push me to always do well, Stay positive, and play with heart. I am going to be playing travel Volleyball for the spring of 2010. I look to focus on volleyball for college, but I am also looking to play college basketball too. I am ALWAYS on time to practice, I have never missed a practice or game, but when I have I was severly ill at home. I am a 100% Committed student athlete. I have maintained a 3.5 G.P.A and higher since my sixth grade year. I am interested in pursuing a career in neurology and or the study of pshycology. I am open to many colleges, but a few that I have had my eye on for a while would be, Fresno State, Arizona State, Penn State, Vangaurd University, and UOP. I enjoy reading abundant amounts of neuro and pshycological books, I read medical text books and encycolpedias. On my free time I ride horses, play the piano and guitar, and spend time helping my community by working early in the morning with our student body or working booths for different varieties of organizations. I am a very vibrant, kind person. I love meeting new people. I enjoy having intellectual conversations and am always open to learning something new. I am very responsible, committed, and determined. I always give my all in practice and work as hard as I can, I am a quick learner and able to adapt to new positions as well as line ups.
