Nicole Witmer '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nicole Witmer and my goal in life is to be an English teacher.  Through volleyball I hope to achieve this goal.  Volleyball has helped me grow as a person and taught me the values of commitment, leadership, and dedication to my goals.  I have been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old and have been playing club since I was 13.  The position I originally started playing was outside, but when I entered high school I was told that I would make a better middle.  Since freshman year, I have played outside, middle, right side, and defense when needed.  I am willing to adjust to whatever position my coach and my team needs me to play.  I try to balance volleyball and my academics equally so I can achieve my ultimate goal of becoming an English teacher.
