Volleyball is my sport and passion. I am in love with this game; I have played volleyball since fourth grade at a small grade school with a lot of talent who went to state three years in a row while I was on their varsity team. At my high school, I have been on the varsity team every year. We have not had the chance to win regionals yet because of the tough competition, but my goal is to win this title my senior year. After we lost the regional championship my sophomore year, I went straight to the Sports Zone that night to work out. I realized that night that I needed to work harder and become the best athlete I could possibly be for my team; I even switched from my home club team to join a more competitive team, Evansville River City. I have many goals for my senior year, and I am really wanting to play college volleyball. Getting a college education is very important to me, and since I want to work in the medical field, I need to get a good education. Playing volleyball in college could not only get me a scholarship, but also give me the chance to grow as an individual. I am working very, very hard towards my goal of being a college athlete and I am determined to reach it.
