Marlee Nork Sette...Personal Statement
Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and learn about me! My name is Marlee Nork and I am a Junior at Walter Payton College Prep in Chicago, IL. My school was ranked the top school in the state by the Chicago Sun Times and is consistently rated as a top-100 school in the country. All of my classes are at the Honors or AP level. Currently, I have a 3.9/4.0 unweighted GPA and a 4.9/4.0 weighted GPA. I recently made National Honor Society and play both varsity volleyball and water polo. BUT, I really, really love volleyball and want to continue to play in college.
I have been a setter on our varsity team since my sophomore year. As a freshman, I played right side on our JV team. We run a 6-2 and during our 2013 season, I led my team to the State Final Four. It was an exciting season and an amazing experience both personally and for the team! I had 463 Assists, 47 Aces and 79 Digs.
I look forward to attending an academically rigorous and challenging school with a good volleyball program. I love a team environment and working together to accomplish great things!
