Leah Nawrot '24 Recruiting Profile

I love playing volleyball at Sport Performance and John Hersey High school. These two places make me into the volleyball player I am today. I love to play with my teammates from both places, and I am so grateful to have met the best coaches and friends from these places. I am also grateful to have the opportunities my family has given me to continue my passion for this sport, and with the opportunities I have I work hard to improve my grades and my athlete capability. 

Volleyball has taught me lots of lessons about teamwork, ambition, dedication, and working hard. As one of two captions of my club volleyball team, I have learned responsibility, the phrase there is no "I" in team and owning up to my role on the team. I know my part on the court, and every time I go into practice, I work on my part to help my team to our success. I continue to work on my skills every day.
