My name is Joanna Hayes, and I am a sophomore this year attending Watersprings (Christian) School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Although I am still young, I aspire to play volleyball in college. My love for the sport motivates me to become better every time I step onto the court. Because my school and club teams have asked me to do a lot of different things, I have lots of experience in different positions, especially setter and outside hitter. My high school coach says I'm extremely coachable, I have a positive attitude, I am very competitive, I have a good work ethic, I always seek to improve my own game, and above all I seek to elevate the play of my teammates. As a sophomore, I am a starter on my school's varsity team and one of the co-captains. In college, I hope to play at a school with a competitive level that will challenge me athletically as well as academically.
