Makena Janssen '15 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball has been a passion of mine since the third grade. My life has been filled with countless practices, struggles, volleyball tournaments, and my overall love of the game. My team mates and I have always bonded and become dear friends on and off the court. I believe my participation in keeping us drama free and working efficiently together has been an asset for my teams. I work hard in the classroom and on the court.  I set a high standard of excellence  where ever I am. Ever since middle school I have dreamed of playing volleyball at the college level. I understand the level of commitment and daily focus it will take to balance being a college athlete and student. I am extremely willing to put in the work required to reach my goal. Playing volleyball for the past eight years of my life has truly taught me the importance of effort, passion, and hard work.
