Aloha, My name is Cassandra Emnase. As a student athlete going into college, I plan to study and major in Kinesiology to later become a Physical Therapist. Along with attending school I plan to play volleyball and represent my schools team. I also plan to join in a club to give back to the community and set a good example for future generations. In college I intend on learning and grow more as a person but also to become a better athlete playing at the next level.
As an athlete I have had 10/11 years of volleyball experience. Throughout the years I have learned and played in every position. In high school I have started in every front line position, along with setting, at the varsity level in a division 1 high school team. Throughout high school my team has placed as conference champions(2015) and conference runner up twice(2014 & 2016). As for club season I mostly play as an opposite or outside hitter but have also played as the DS and setter.
On a personal note, I am a very hard working person who will gladly put in the extra time and work to get better and stronger. Coaches would describe me as a versatile, dedicated, aggressive player. Teammates would describe me as an aggressive, encouraging, loud, and confident player. I enjoy working out in the weight room and at home on my free time. I am very passionate about volleyball and can understand the game physically and emotionally. Currently I am partaking in an unpaid internship at my schools Athletic Training to get a better hands on experience to helping and caring for other athletes. I have been confirmed by the church of St. Joseph and is a frequent goer. I enjoy helping and caring for others especially athletes.
