I'm sure everyone likes to win, right? Well my opinion is, it's not always about winning, but you do like to win. It's about having fun and learning from your mistakes. Then correct the mistakes and try better next time. My goals in volleyball are to be one of the best outside hitters. I would like to stay this position, being that I am glued to it, and know my position by heart. I will admit I do have to work on my attitude. I get mad fairly easily when I do everything I can to not let a ball hit the ground without one of my body parts hitting the ground with it. And then you have people that worry about other and not themselves. And it really makes me mad when I have been playing longer that a particular person and the words out of their mouth is "You did it wrong." Or "That's not how you serve!" Or " you need to go for the ball and not worry about me!".
I know the world doesn't revolve around me, but there is a difference between helping someone, and telling them thats not how you do it with a slap on the cheek saying you just need to quit.
I try and hold my goals high, so I can achieve them, and exceed pass my limits. But I have to know when and what my body says, and when it says to stop, and know what my limits are and when I have reached them. Thank you, and text the 3007 number, and tell me what you think. Oh and thank you coaches for all that you do to help us achieve or goals!!
