Hi I’m Elsie!
My goals are to graduate high school with my Associates Degree, then go to college. I’d want to then attend medical school for Obstetrics and Gynecology. School has been and always will be one of my main focuses in life. Something I find the most rewarding are your academic accomplishments.
Volleyball was introduced to me for the first time when I was in 6th grade. My gym teacher was a volleyball coach and told me to try one of her camps. From that day forward I was hooked. I’ve experienced many people underestimate me, but that only makes me want to prove them wrong. Volleyball for me is a stress reliever, a form of enjoyment but mostly a passion.
I’d be a good candidate for your team because I stand by unity and preserverance. I’ll never say I can’t do something or a task is “too hard”. It’s my job to push myself and work harder than I did the day before. I’m very coachable and as team captain on multiple teams, I strive to be a leader by example. I am completely accepting to constructive criticism and being instructed what I need to work on.
I’m unique because I’ll always bring positivity, intensity and volume to the court. Whether we win or lose, I’ll walk off the court with a smile on my face. I’m loud, but in a good way. Whether it is cheering us on or calling “mine!” my voice is always heard on the court or on the bench. Playing collegiate volleyball at any level would not only help me thrive as a player but it would also give me opportunities of responsibility, commitment, and time management.
