Hi I am Jaelyn Craft and my whole life revolves around sports whether its passing the ball outside my house, to practices, to games. My dream is to play at the University of Florida but I am open to any colleges as long as I get to do what I love. I know I am only in the eighth grade but I have some very big goals set for myself. I play many sports and have loved playing ever since I could walk and hope to stay playing as long as I can. I am also a 3.0 Student and take pride in my studies, along with my goals as an athlete I am also very dedicated to my school work so that I can one day enjoy the benefits of the classroom and the court for college.
I believe that I would make a great candidate for any team because I enjoy leading from the front, I was chosen captain of my volleyball team 2 years in a row I also received the MVP award my first year playing volleyball, as well as offensive MVP for this last season. I was also awarded the "BEST HITTER" award my 8th grade year which is something I worked extra hard on this season. I also love to encourage my fellow teammates instead of telling them how to do something, My mindset is to encourage them that they can do anything they put their hearts and minds too and that goes for me too. Even though I was chosen as their captain I never thought of myself as better than any of them. When playing with them I feel very loved and feel as if I am apart of a second family.
What makes me different from most other recruits in character is my positivity and driven attitude. I love the game. Win or lose I keep my head up and make sure I am there for my teammates. Not only am I there for teammates but for people outside volleyball as well. I am a very caring person and hope to be the best I can be for myself and others as well.
