Captain and Starting S (5-1) on 3rd-ranked team in the State. Won 49 of 55 games in regular season, winning 33 games in a row. Achieved 5 tournament championships in a row. Team played up in 15's Open Division at the Music City Volleyball Championships in Nashville, TN; led the team to an undefeated Championship victory. Won 2 Bids at Big South Qualifier (11-0) and Disney Qualifier (7-1) for 2017 JO's in Minneapolis.

Exact Sports Sunshine State Volleyball Showcase Camp
12/02/17 to 12/02/17
On-Court College Training Camp, where players interface directly with college coaches throughout the event. Each player will have a chance to personally introduce herself to college coaches in attendance. Personal interaction is emphasized on and off the court to offer players direct feedback on performance. In addition to a 1-on-1 evaluation at camp, athletes receive a personalized online Performance Report completed by a college coach after camp. Over 1,000 college coaches participate in EXACT's Camps each year to develop future star players. Coaches attending come from NCAA DI, DII, DIII and NAIA programs. During the event, EXACT's seminars on mental performance training give players the know-how to succeed in their current high school and club environment and at the next level.

Setter's Training Camp at University of Tampa. Designed for the intermediate to advanced player who wants intensive training in setting, hitting, or defense. Athletes must choose a specialty and they receive intense training from basic through advanced techniques in their chosen specialty. At the end of each session the Setters, Hitters, and Liberos will be put together to implement the skills they have trained during those sessions. Serving, passing and blocking is also covered.

Max Volleyball Performance - Elite Setting Training

This camp breaks down and explains all the components of setting. Setting Master Coach, Félix Viera, shares the setting secrets that have made him so successful on so many different levels. Athletes are taught using high repetition drills to reinforce proper footwork, hand position, and ball delivery. Players learn skills such as jump setting, eye sequencing, floor leadership, using a variety of play sets, and running various offense types.

Recently, Mauro was the Colombia and Peru National Teams' Head Coach, and previously coached in Italy's A1 and A2 League for over 20 years. Mauro grew up playing volleyball in Brazil, where he was a Champion multiple times with his club and the Brazilian National Team. In 1992 he was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Federation of Volleyball of Rio de Janeiro. In 1994 he was also the Champion of the FIVB World Tour Championship of Beach Volleyball with Team Monica-Adriana.

He has 21 years of experience working with junior girls primarily in the 10U-17U age group. Level I and Level II FIVB coaches’ courses. In the past 12 years has directly organized and directed camps in both the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Félix is one of the most recognized setter trainers in the United States and Puerto Rico. In 2012, he won the AAU Nationals and the Junior Olympics with his 13 Asics Open team, becoming the first coach in the State of Florida to win both titles with the same team in the same year.
