Hello There!
My name is Valerie Kirsch and I am 17 years old. I am a senior at Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut. My positions are libero/defensive specialist. I have been playing volleyball since sixth grade and it would be amazing if I had the opportunity to play in college. I am a really well rounded player. Throughout my six years of playing I have been placed in every position. Two years ago I found my calling as the libero. I am very quick on the court and not afraid to hit the floor. While other girls may be afraid of a tough serve or hard hit, I get excited and accept the challenge. I bring energy with me everywhere I go, on the court and off. I am a dedicated player and will give 110% all the time. I strive everyday to become a better player and I believe that every practice and every game I get better. That goes for my team as well even when we are losing you can bet that I will be there fighting until the very last point. I have played on the varsity level since freshman year and playing club since the seventh grade. Last year I played on TCA Connecticut and plan on playing again this year after school season is over.
I also have a lot of cultural experience. I was born in Germany, lived in Singapore, grew up in Michigan, spent my freshman and sophomore year back in Germany, and now live in Connecticut. I love to travel and am open to schools all around the country. Although my major is undecided, that doesn't mean I'm not thinking about what I would like to do in the future. Right now, I would rather keep my options open so I can really find the perfect fit. I am a good student and enjoy learning in school. I am very artsy, musical and interested in biology as well. I'm really outgoing, love to make new friends and build relationships.
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile!
