Personal Statement
I have been playing Volleyball since I was nine-years-old and have a deep passion for the sport. I am a sophomore on the Varsity High School Volleyball team at Mancos High School. I have played club ball since the Fourth grade and will continue to play club ball through my High School years. My goal is to play Volleyball in college and to later become a coach where I can pass along my experiences and abilities to others. As my coach says, I am "relentless and put everything I have into the sport". I know I would be a good candidate for your team as I am a team player and work well with others. I know and understand the game and follow instructions from coaches.
Academically, I have been strong throughout my school years and currently sit at a 3.7 GPA. I know this is important to acquire a scholarship and will keep motivated in that direction.
In closing, I would like to add that I do not want to be done playing Volleyball after High School; I want to keep going and continue to improve.
