Hello and thank you for visiting my profile! I am excited for my high school and collegiate years, and the opportunity to play at the next level!
I started playing volleyball in the 6th grade and fell in love immediately. In middle school, I played on the 7th grade team while in 6th grade; was captain of the 8th grade team while in 7th grade, and was captain of the 8th grade team and an assistant coach for the 6th graders while in 8th grade. I look forward to playing in high school and the day I make the varsity team. My Freshman year, I was starting outside hitter, captain and MVP for the Freshman Team and was brought up to Junior Varsity and became the starting setter. I also returned to my Middle School when ever I could, to work with the 6th grade team.
I'm told I have good hands and a high volleyball IQ. I am a very dedicated, hardworking and coach-able player, who is always trying to be a leader on and off the court. Most recently I was a setter on my club (14-1) team, but I am also a powerful hitter and accomplished blocker. Additionally, I play basketball, lacrosse and beach volleyball.
My desire is to study Sports Medicine/Exercise Science and to play for a collegiate volleyball program with an exceptional reputation.
Thank you for taking the time to review my profile.
Sincerely,
McKenzie Clyncke
