Personal Statement

When I was little, my only goal in life was to be just like my parents. I didn't necessarily want their jobs or their hobbies, but, to put it simply, I wanted to find something to be passionate about and, with it, make a difference. Nowadays, I still have this goal, except it has come full circle. I do not just have one interest, I have a multitude and I want to use my experiences within them to make a difference.

My goals are fairly straightforward but shoot for the stars. I aim to hold my position as valedictorian of my graduating class and eventually,  go on to earn my PhD in Neuroscience or Psychology and continue into a career studying human interactions and the brain.

As for volleyball, it is one of the major components of my life. Without it, I feel I would not be a complete person. I want to continue to play for the rest of my life, starting with college ball and after in recreational leagues. Then, I dream of continuing to use my knowledge of soccer and volleyball to coach young players, something I already have almost 4 years of experience with.

The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
