Growing up in a small town has its advantages and disadvantages. One advantage is that everyone gets along and it is like one big family. A disadvantage is not having a lot of competition to challenge myself. When I was younger, I was always bigger and faster than the kids I played against. My coach played me as a defensive end because that's exactly what defensive ends are: big and fast. I blitzed and sacked the quarterback nearly every play so I often end a game with at least 7 to 10 sacks. Now in junior high, I have learned that hard work beats out talent and teamwork is of utmost importance. I strive to be a strong leader in my school and a positive role model in my community. I am a hardworking student athlete looking forward to the next four years of highschool and hopefully one day a college football offer. My motto is to always stay humble and hungry!
