Personal Statement

I have been playing and loving the sport of Volleyball since the fourth grade and I want to continue playing throughout my college years!

I love playing on a team where everyone is working hard and committed to each other! I just completed my 2015 high school season, where I was voted MVP and was also named 1st Team All-League. This season I had over 270 kills (avg. 9 kills per match, 266 digs, 34 service aces (.90% service rate), and over 40 blocks. I learned many valuable things this season, like the importance of persistence, resilience and being a good teammate and having a positive attitude at all times and in all circumstances. One thing that distinguishes me from other players is that I work very hard both on and off the court.   I have high expectations for myself and want to support my team in every way I can. I believe that my contributions and commitment to my teammates happens with every play.

When I play, I try to keep these four things in mind at all times:

  1. Work Hard
  2. Be a Good Teammate
  3. Have Fun
  4. Have a Good Attitude

I believe that if I am faithful in all four of these behaviors, I contribute greatly to my teams' success.

Thank you for taking the time to consider me for your program. My goal is to play Collegiate Volleyball for four years and I can promise that whatever team I play for, I will give 110%.

Please contact me if you have any questions or want additional information.

Thank you,

Hali M. Galloway

Awards and Activities

  • ActivitiesEvery summer (until this summer), for one week, I have run a camp for kids in my neighborhood. I organize the crafts, food, art and physical activities. This is a fun event to organize and something the neighborhood kids look forward to in the summer. I love to read. I enjoy reading Historical Fiction and Dramatic Mystery novels. I also love to draw in my spare time.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
