To start off my favorite sport is volleyball. It's more of a passion for me, it all started in high school my freshman year that i discovered that it was my passion. I played all four years, been on varsity my junior and senior year. My last year in volleyball we were league champs, became runner up for CIF and was given another chance in state playoffs. My position was defensive specialist but mostly played right back. I Loved That position and still do. I worked so hard for the position and never stopped. Im very agressive sometimes fiesty but yet very outgoing. Im that type of young lady that when im off the court im nice, funny, loud, outgoing, and love love to help and serve people. but when im off the court im focused, ready to recieve the ball, tough, agressive, firery.
When it comes to academic, im not smarty pants. i can say that im smart but honestly i stuggle a lot when having good grades. i try my best to get them to As. But yet so hard, i want to get the chance to go to a four year college. I want that opportunity to play volleyball. i want to prove to all the colleges that i can work harder and do my best. Yes i may have a low gpa but i at least try my best to get good grades. i push myself hard but sometimes just want to give up because i dont think im that smart like everyone else in my class and grade. But talking to all my peirs and my family and teachers. I can push myself to the level where i can prove to all the colleges that yes im not going to have a gpa higher than a 3.0 but at least i can push myself and show that i can do it.I just want that opportunity to at least get excepted to a university. I can say Math and English are my strongest subjects. the rest isnt my best interest.
My ability to learn is that i need everything visually and not just spoken. i need to be able to see whats going on, how its supposed to be done, and need to be able to do it with my own hands. Its easier for me when it comes to learning. i may be slow but i can have that potiental that i atleast got and understand the material. i want to be at a college that will allow one on one learning, where the professors interact with the students and help me when i trully need it. i want the teacher to care enough where when i need help he will stop what they're doing and be able to help.
What i want to major in college is criminal justice. Its been, i want to say a passion but its been a really big interest in my life. But yet i want to play volleyball as well. There really isnt a big future plan that is already setup. to me its step by step. First get accepted to a university, degree, then voleyball. Im going to work harder than i do now, because its my passion to go to college and not be a dissapointment to my family. I want to be the first kid to ever go to college. Since my brothers didnt want to work hard enough to excell to a four year university. I wan to be given a chance to prove that i can do it and will work hard enough to show that i do have a purpose and not be a slaker.
