Alexandria Reyes '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a very committed student athlete. I work hard at maintaining over a 4.0 grade point average while challenging myself through rigorous honors and AP classes. I absolutely love playing volleyball and aspire to play at the college level. I take pride in the fact that I always am striving to get better. I always take every opportunity I can to get reps in the gym to achieve that goal.

I am about to begin my fourth year of playing club volleyball and will be playing for Los Angeles Volleyball Academy (LAVA) South this upcoming season on the 17 1's team. The highlight of my club season last year was attending Junior Nationals in Minneapolis competing in the 16's Open Division.

I am currently a Junior in high school and have been a starter on the Varsity team all three years and honored to be selected as Captain for the last two. This year, we finished our regular season undefeated in our League and ranked #1 in Division 2AA. We made a good CIF playoff run making it all the way to the finals before taking a hard loss. In the Division 2 State Championship we went all the way to the quarter finals ultimately finishing second in Southern California Region. In addition to indoor volleyball, I am also on my high school beach volleyball team. 

Outside of volleyball I enjoy going to the beach, hanging out with friends, cooking, and relaxing.
