Tepora Su'a '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior setter, opposite/middle hitter and defensive specialist for Steele Canyon High School (SCHS) class of 2012 in California. I love volleyball and I want to continue playing at the Collegiate level. My preference is to play for a Div.I or Div. II College or University that offers undergraduate degrees in physics or biomedical engineering.  However, I am open to exploring all schools at all divisions where my academic goals can be realized, my Christian principles are not compromised, and where my athletic abilities will contribute to the success of the school’s volleyball program.

My drive to excel is evidenced in both my classroom excellence and athletic abilities on the volleyball court.

The pillars of my life are; first and foremost is my faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gives me strength to overcome all adversities, my family who are my greatest fans and most ardent supporters and critics, my education which is the key to a successful future, my love for volleyball which gives me the opportunity to not only make new friends, but to develop successful teamwork and sound leadership, and my friends with whom I share the joys of living. Volleyball is the arena where I can be aggressive in being the best that I can be with gentleness and humility. I have learned to be humble in victory and honorable in defeat. A Christian environment would be ideal, but not necessary. It is very important to me that I am able to receive personal attention in the classroom and great mentors and role models on the field.
