In 5th grade, I tried out for Our Lady of Grace's volleyball team and immediately fell in love with the sport. Although, my true passion for volleyball started in sixth grade, when I began playing club volleyball and have been playing every year ever since. Volleyball has taught me how to be a leader as well as a team player and how to be humble yet competitive. I have learned how to adapt to different situations on the court, how to have control and be precise, and how to persevere through every practice and game no matter the circumstances. While playing volleyball for many years, I have learned time management and how to work hard and keep consistent grades throughout high school. During a challenging two years with my sister being sick, I learned how to keep a balance between family, volleyball, and school and have always continued to play and pursue my love for volleyball as well as continuing to work hard in the classroom. Volleyball has always been my passion and I continue to strive towards reaching the next level in order to further my volleyball career.
