My name is Natalie Fruend, I am originally from Missouri but am currently living in California. I have also lived in New Jersey for a year. Moving around has caused a lot of changes in my life and I think this is why I could go to college just about anywhere. I have only been playing volleyball for a short four years. My first year began when I was in the school gym for basketball over the summer and the varsity coach at my school approached me suggesting I play volleyball instead of basketball. Since then I have been working extremely hard to get where I am now. I started late playing the game compared to other people but volleyball has been my passion ever since I began playing. I am extremely dedicated and hard working and will never give up my dreams of playing in college. I have been playing sports for as long as I can remember, I started out playing soccer, the basketball, softball, and now volleyball. I work my hardest on and off the court to improve my volleyball IQ and my skill level. In college I hope to work to becoming a Vet with a minor in business. Outside of volleyball I am a fun and loving person who enjoys hikes, art, and animals. Some words I would use to describe myself are hardworking, outgoing, and goofy. As a player I believe that I bring a sense of leadership to the court as well as competitiveness.
