Christa Meehan '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Christa Meehan, a 2017 grad and I live in San Jacinto California. I go to San Jacinto High School , I'm a 4 year varsity starter as a Libero. Some of my accomplishments I have made in volleyball are, my 15 season I went to Orlando, Florida and I helped  my team place 84th. My last club season we went to the Arizona Festival and we placed 14th out of 145 teams. Also, for my high school team, this is my second year as captain on my team and I received a All- Tournament in the Dan Guam tournament and I also received Most Valuable Player this high school season.  Through out my years of playing volleyball it came to me that I actually have a future with it if I stick with it , so I did . So now I am pursuing my dream into getting a scholarship with volleyball. My goal in life is never settle for what you have now and to always strive for better.  I never let one bad game determine the player I am. Nobody has their best day everyday it's reality.  I have a consist mind set that I have to strive for getting better even though that gives up my social life in a way , getting a scholarship is way more important to me than hanging out with friends, I look at my future and what I can do to better my future. I would like to go to a Christian school but either one is fine as long I am in a great school with a great volleyball program. I am hoping to go to a D1 - D3 school.
