My goal is to play college volleyball while pursuing a degree at a top academic university. I'm the Captain of my Red Rock 16-1's Club team and a pin hitter who plays all the way around on both my club and high school teams. I have a lot of power as a hitter, play sand to refine my on-court strategy and increase endurance, and I have a strong court sense from starting my volleyball career as a setter. One of the things I'm proudest of is being told I'm "very coachable." I'd love to bring my commitment and versatility as a player to a college team.
I've been an athlete since I was little -- I'm a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do and have played competitive soccer and basketball since age 5. My education is the most important factor in my future and I'm taking Honors classes at St. Ignatius College Preparatory. I'm also committed to volunteering 200 hours of community service throughout my high-school career, continuing my family's commitment to the community in which we live.
