Carly Gutner-Davis '11 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball is my passion. Along with my family, friends, and school, volleyball is one of the most important aspects of my life. I've been told that once you find something in your life that you truly love, you should stick with it. I also value the quality of my education enormously. I would like to attend a co-ed four-year college that offers a fulfilling education so that I may succeed further in my life after school. I would like a college that excels in the liberal arts area, offering a relaxed atmosphere yet challenging courses and challenging athletics. I am a very versatile player, having experience as a middle and outside, as well as back row and most recently as a right side hitter. However, I believe there is always work to be done, techniques to learn, and skills to improve. I'm constantly looking for a way to improve as a volleyball player and I always have a desire to perfect my skills and bring out all of my potential. First and foremost I am a team player, and want to add value to the team wherever and whenever I can. I seek academic and athletic opportunities that match that value.
