Allison Mick '21 Recruiting Profile

I first stepped foot on a volleyball court when I was 11 and had no idea what I was doing but it took me about ten seconds to realize that this is what I want to do when I grow up. One day my dream and goal is to end up somewhere that not only suits my athletic preferences but my academics as well. I believe my skill set would be extremely beneficial at numerous collegiate programs. The game itself has taught me so many things that I never would have learned, and most of them are essential in having a successful career. On the court I try to be a leader as much as possible, whether it be calm my teammates down in a stressful situation, or after one of my teammates makes an error, I try to pick them back up so they play to their best abilities. I truly love the game and the kind of fire it puts in my heart to get better every single day. I am extremely passionate about always becoming the best player and teammate I can be.
