Lauren Whitehouse '16 Recruiting Profile

        I started playing volleyball my freshman year of high school and ever since then I haven't been able to get off the court!.  I have been blessed to play on Redlands East Valley High School Varsity volleyball team which has won many consecutive CBL Division 1a Championships. I am a competitive, enthusiastic and positive player on the court and I have many leadership qualities.
        Although I am in love with the sport, I also am involved in many other things like volunteer work, my church youth group and working a part time job. My volunteer work involves working each week as a leader for inner-city youth at my  church. I also helped to organize and lead a free volleyball clinic for the low income children in my community. In addition, I take my studies very seriously.
In  conclusion, I feel that I have great team spirit. I work  well with others and have  excellent relational skills. I am  a very determined athlete and I am willing to work  very hard to become a better volleyball player. I believe these qualities will make me an asset to your team.
