Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Celeste Chen, I am a libero/defensive specialist from Yorba Linda, California. I play as a starter libero on varsity volleyball at Valencia High School and I play as starting libero on my club team. I have had two years of club experience and I am currently on my third year. I'm devoted to getting every single ball up and taking charge of the back court. I am as dedicated to volleyball as I am in academics, with a GPA of 4.67 this fall semester, and participation in AP and IB classes.

I am seeking a college home that offers an exceptional athletic and academic experience. I am very interested in taking my skills further and progressing at the next level. I am very competitive and always strive to better myself as an player. I am looking into majoring in Pre-Veterinary Studies or Biology and expect to be an incredible student athlete.
