I have been playing volleyball for the past four years. I have been playing club volleyball with Empire for the past 3 and a half years. I absolutely love this sport because it takes my stress away from school work, it gives me something to focus on. I am a great candidate for every team because I am self-motivated, I am committed 100% of the time, and I am leader on the court.
I guarantee that I will be the one to show up every day to training ready to train and give 110%. I do this because not only am I committed but because I am self-motivated to do so. I want to see progress in my volleyball career and the best way to do this is through taking every opportunity to get better seriously.
I am committed to being a great student as well as a stellar athlete. I challenge myself by taking AP courses and going to extra practices weekly. I commit early on and follow through by managing my time. I sacrifice many things involving friends and social media to achieve this high standard I hold myself up to.
One of my best qualities on the court is that I don't play only for myself but for my teammates as well. I make sure everyone is smiling and focused. If I do see someone beating themselves up over an error I look them in the eyes and tell them that they have the next one. They will make it up, and I remind them to always be confident in themselves!
My dream is to play volleyball in college and major in Psychology.
