Hello Coach,
I have been playing volleyball for about 4 years and just in that short time I have fallen in love with the sport. I have played many sports most of my life but volleyball is the only one where I absolutely love every aspect of it. I started off my volleyball freshman year of high school as a middle blocker, because I was one of the taller ones. As I continued to play, I got a lot better but I knew I was not reaching my full potential at that position and I asked my club coaches if I could play outside, but they said no. Finally, my senior year I got my chance to play as an outside hitter. I completely blossomed at this position and ended my season with an All-League award. I don't want to stop here, I want to continue my career at the collegiate level and reach my potential as a player and athlete. I am pretty strong academically, I have a rough start with high school, receiving a 3.1 accumulative GPA, however I just finished my first semester of my senior year with a 3.8 GPA and I intend to keep this hard work and good grades throughout college. I want to study secondary education in the subject of History in college and when done with college, become a history teacher and volleyball coach. I am a hard-working, determined individual and it shows both on an off the court. I really cannot imagine just being done with volleyball, high school ended so quickly. I love every single aspect of volleyball, from getting a beautiful kill to coming together as a team and knowing each and every one of your teammates has your back.
