Courtney Borja '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Courtney Borja, I am a senior at Live Oak High School. I feel that I would be a great candidate to play on a college volleyball team, because I have a great attitude on and off the court, I always try to keep the team working hard while still having a great time. I play this game with so much heart, because I truly love the game and the team work it takes to achieve a goal together as a single unit. If I was given the opportunity to play on a college team I would be completely dedicated to my team;I believe the better team camaraderie we have the more successful we would be. One thing you should know about me as an individual and and athlete is that I give 110% at everything  I do and I will not slack off nor will I let a teammate give less than100%. If we want to succeed as a team then we all have to give the same amount of effort. You are only as strong as your weakest link. I love learning about the psychology of the game, all things in life are mental, and if you have control of your mind in the game you will always be the stronger opponent. I also love Anatomy and Biology, so taking care of my body is very importantto perform to the best of my abilities. I will never be a disappointment to any team I am placed on.
