My name is Josie Cole, and I love to play volleyball. I am a 5'11 sophomore pin-hitter. This is my 2nd year on the girls varsity volleyball team at Campolindo High School, in Moraga, California. I also competed on the varsity track and field team in shot-put, discus and high jump. I enjoy my club or high school practices, open gyms, lessons, and playing on the beach. During this past year, I have been training with Jon Root, Olympic gold medalist. I have also been training with strength coaches to get stronger and increase my vertical. With 9 years of taekwondo training and earning my black belt, I have been working on my strength and endurance for most of my life. It is my dream to play volleyball in college, and in Europe, or on the beach after that. I am not sure what my college major will be, but I am interested in sports medicine, sports psychology, and marketing.
