Thank you for viewing my NCSA site.
For the 2018 season I have accepted the starting Middle Blocker position on the U15 Synergy National team. I think this is a great accomplishment for only being my second year of playing volleyball. I recently completed my high school season as a starter on my J.V volleyball team for Del Oro as a freshman middle hitter and was a leader in kills.
Over the summer I spent my time working with my coach, Addie Hauschild on not only middle hitting but passing, defense and other positions to build on what I learned from playing on the U14 national team in 2017.
Before I started volleyball in 2017, I played competitive basketball, soccer, beach volleyball, and swam. Although I now only play indoor & beach volleyball and basketball I have learned something from all of my past sports. One big lesson I learned was to not give up after losing a match, game, or race. You have to keep working hard and you have to keep practicing to be better.
I remember when I first started getting into volleyball, I began playing with my middle school team. Nothing was too competitive and it was just for experience. While playing in 7th grade I fell in love with the game. The summer going into 8th grade I began going to camps and private trainings and being a confident player, so I tried out for a national team.
I often set goals for myself. Whether it’s for sports or for school and grades I like to take my dreams far. Being so athletic in almost every sport I’ve played has made me confident, open-minded, hard working, and a leader. I have fun off the court with friends and teammates but when it’s time to play I’ve got my head in the game. I know how important it is to have a good relationship with my teammates and I always set a goal to be on a personal level with my whole team.
Although sports are a big part of who I am I always strive to do outstanding in school. Ever since kindergarten I’ve worked hard to be the best student I can possibly be. So I’m looking for colleges that can help me be the best student, teammate, athlete, and person I can possibly be.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Please contact one of my coaches for more information.
