Personal Statement

I will be graduating in 2014 from Butte College, in Chico, CA. I have been playing volleyball since the 8th grade and aspire to continue playing at the collegiate level. I was a starter during the 2012 season at Butte College and unfortunately tore my ACL just before the beginning of the 2013 season.  I have been helping coaching since I am medical red shirti this season .  I have received the honor of Female athlete of the year 2010/2011 season and 2nd team all state on Max prep in volleyball (2011 season).   I was voted MVP 2011 season all county and co-mvp all county in my Junior year.   I also play basketball and run track, but volleyball is my passion.  I am a honor student with a 3.32GPA. I give 110% both on the court and in the classroom. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right 4 year college match.
