I have been playing volleyball since the sixth grade. My initial interest and introduction into volleyball was due to being the new kid on the block at a catholic school. I thought it would be a great way for me to get to know a lot of the girls in my class better by playing on the volleyball team. After playing a couple of games and enjoying the win I began to fall in love with the sport. I started really enjoying the competitive side of myself . Volleyball has taught me some valuable lessons, such as needing someone to assist you in the process of achieving a goal and time management. Not only would I be a great candidate athletically, but also academically. I work just as hard on the court as I do in the classroom. I do believe in the word perseverance.
