Hello my name is Jazmyn Sudbrook,

I am 17 years old, and my biggest aspiration in life is to play volleyball at the collegiate level. Ever since the day I tried out for my junior high team in seventh grade, I knew this was something I could pursue for the rest of my life. Volleyball has taught me patience and teamwork, but above all it has taught me about dedication. Along with volleyball, I also play basketball, run track, and baton twirl for my high school's marching band. Almost my whole life I have always played more than one sport and that has taught me a great deal about time management. Regarding all the sports I have played in, they are: baton twirling competitively for seven years, basketball in AAU since 7th grade, running huddles in 10th grade and volleyball (school and club) since 7th grade. Basketball is my way of keeping myself in shape, getting to know more people, and working on hand-eye coordination. Last year, I decided to do hurdles for my high schools track team. This practice time has notably help me increase my stamina and strength. I have dedicated my spare time to improving myself and keeping my grades up. My mom and dad are very important to me. I want to do all that I can to make them proud of me through my academics and sports play.
