Being asked to play in varsity playoffs was one of the many highlights of my sophomore year. This experience helped me re-focus my own personal efforts into being a very versatile and hardworking player. I had noticed the "student-athlete" in me was pushing to keep my GPA high, especially in the more rigorous courses I was taking. This helped me understand what it felt like to be a true student-athlete. Being on the court helped me conquer a sense of teamwork and responsibility. I learned that playing with confidence not only ups my game, but brings the attitude of the team up as well. I believe that not only do I have the potential to compete at the collegiate level but I also have the drive and work ethic to do so as well. My leadership-like habits and "passionate for the team" attitude would be essential for any program I happen to land on. With my desire to succeed and willingness to improve, I know that I can be a great asset for whichever college team I play for.
