Kady Porterfield '11 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing sports since 1st grade and I've always loved playing on a team. My athletic build gave me a good start and I use it to my full advantage. I'm 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. Volleyball has become one of my passions and I would really like to play at the next level. Since my sophomore year, I have led our conference in number of kills and aces. I have also been in the top 3 for the number of blocks. My junior year I received All-Conference MVP and MVP for my high school team as well. I have made the All-Conference 1st team all 3 of my Varsity years. I was also team co-captain my junior year because of my drive to work hard and win. I was also chosen because of my leadership skills and support of all the team members. I was also captian my senior year and had another good season.  I am now currently playing both volleyball and basketball for SUNY Cobleskill where I am studying for a Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Business. I was leader in kills on my team for my freshmen year here at SUNY.
