I am freshman at Homestead high school in Sunnyvale, California and I believe that there is always room for improvement, and with that said I continuously work my hardest, especially in volleyball and my academics in order to improve myself as a player and student. I got the opportunity to play volleyball when my sister began practicing the sport. I then began competing in the sport myself in fourth grade on a recreational team, which sparked my love for volleyball. I wanted to play at a more competitive level so I now play at Red Rock volleyball club on there 15-1s team. I train and push myself both in and out of mandatory practices so I can improve as much as possible during the season. I practice beach volleyball, private lessons, volleyball practices, the Riekes training center on the days I have volleyball practices and then I go to the D1 training facility in Santa Clara all of the other days of the week when I don't have mandatory practices. The reason I do all of my training for this sport is because of the competitiveness and the team atmosphere that volleyball provides me. Other than training, I coach an eighth grade boys team at my old middle school and tutor a first grader. One of my most learning experiences as a volleyball player is when I played in the beach nationals in Sweden in the summer of 2015 where I learned to communicate with people in a different language, but all sharing the same passions as myself. Other than volleyball, academics is very important to me too. Being a hardworking student I have perfected time management and being task oriented. Overall, one of my main desires is to play college volleyball and hopefully, you have interest in my profile and contact me using my information above.
