My goal is to earn a volleyball college scholarship and pursue a degree. I would like to play the sport I love while earning my degree. Volleyball has been a part of most of my life. I have learned discipline and time management in order to keep up with my studies and still compete in volleyball. My experience, work ethic and drive are skills I believe will allow me to achieve any goal I set my mind to, in school, in life and on the court. Being a team sport, I enjoy the camaraderie and the effort required to achieve a common goal. I also feel, and have been told by my coaches, that my character and on court skills give me the necessary qualities to step into a leadership role in a team environment. I entered my high school as the most decorated player and lead them to the school's first ever CIF Championship title in school history. I have been a part of the USA HP program going on five years, in 2016 being named to the USA WJA1 Team and the previous 2 years being named as an alternate to the 2014 and 2015 USA GYA1 team. I was named to 2016 AVCA Under Armour Watch list and an AVCA Phenom the two previous years. I was also named in the 2014 edition of the AAU Best Volleyball Players book. I helped lead my Culver volleyball club team to SCVA Division 1 Gold in 2013, which was a first for the club. (I have returned to the SCVA gold division with my 2015 & 2016 club teams). I was also named All-CIF for high school in 2015, as well as 1st team All-League, team captain, and team MVP. Academically, I have earned top grades and scholastic awards while continuing to play on both my school and club teams. I have been on the honor roll throughout middle school and high school. I believe that I would be an asset as a student and as an athlete.
