- My name is Candace Nash. I am a senior at Ayala High School in Chino Hills, California. I have been playing volleyball for four years for my high school and club. I was a starting DS for the varsity team my sophmore and junior year. As a senior I served as the starting libero. My greatest accomplishments was winning best defensive player, coach's award, and making 2nd team for the Sierra League. My club experience has also been rewarding. I served as a setter my first year, but quickly moved into the libero position. I served as captain for three years. I am currently playing with Pacific Juniors VBC 18-1's. My goals are to continue playing volleyball in college and pursuing a career in the sports field. I have a very strong work ethic, and have often been told that what makes me a stand out player is that I play with heart. Although I live in California, I am open to attending college in other states.
