First and foremost - thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
Currently, I am enjoying playing JO volleyball for Arkansas Juniors Storm Volleyball Club as the starting outside hitter for the 15U National team.
In the Fall of 2016, I played volleyball and tennis as a Freshman for Jonesboro High School. I started as an Outside Hitter for my 6A volleyball team, and my doubles partner and I played the number one doubles position. The best part of these two seasons is that I received two state titles in the same month. My teammates and I won the 6A State Volleyball Title. My doubles partner and I won the 6A State Doubles Title. I was honored as a 6A State Volleyball All-Tournament player, Arkansas All Preps Freshman and Sophomore Team member and the only Freshman on the First Team Best Under the Sun by the local media. I also received All State Honors in tennis.
I have worked hard off of the court to improve my volleyball and tennis. My hard work has paid off as I started as a 7th Grader for the Varsity team at MacArthur Junior High School as an Outside Hitter. That season we went on to win both the 6A East Conference and District Championships. During my 8th Grade season, because I was one of the tallest players on the team, I played middle blocker. Also, during this season, my team won both the 6A East Conference and District Championships. I was selected All-Conference and All-District Tournament.
I love being an athlete, a hard working, three sport athlete! I not only play volleyball and tennis, but I also run track! My 100 meter relay team won the 6A East District Championship in 2016. My true love, however, is volleyball!
I began playing club volleyball for Jonesboro Storm when I was 10. I have remained with Jonesboro Storm until this year when our club merged with another club forming Arkansas Juniors Storm. For the 2014-15 Club season, as a 13 year old, I was asked to start on the 15-1 team. During the 2015-16 season, I started for the 16-1 team. After my Storm season concluded, another club’s 16-1 team asked me to start for them at the 2016 Girl's Junior National Championship. This year, I am playing for Arkansas Juniors Storm 15 National team.
My current GPA in 9th Grade Pre-Advanced Placement Classes is 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. After obtaining my college degree, I want to complete a postgraduate degree.
Another thing that sets me aside from the other student athletes in my class is my work ethic and my leadership skills. I am currently the Treasurer for the Douglas MacArthur Junior High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). I am also an active member of Beta Club. My church youth group is also an important group in my life, and my walk with Christ is also one of the most important things to me.
My main goal is to continue my volleyball career at the collegiate level, and earning a good education as well.
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to get to know me! I hope to hear from you soon!Statistic | 2017 Varsity Team | 2016 Varsity Team | 2015 Freshman Team |
