Tammy Ortega '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a student athlete who tries her best in academics and on the court. I'm not only playing for myself, but for my team and family. Ever day, I work hard in school for my family to make them proud of me. I am searching for a good education and a good volleyball career. 

I have been playing volleyball for 3-4 years. My freshmen year of high school, I was team captain & one of the top 4 best players on the team. I was nominated MVP for Defensive Specialist. I am also an outside hitter & setter. 

I am a team leader and I try to give an example while also encouraging my teammates. Volleyball is my passion and being a veterinarian is a goal of mine. I look forward to the rest of my high school career & hopefully being recruited to play in college.
