She was the first student in her school to ever place in the State Science fair, taking 2nd place in the Elementary Chemistry Division in 2015 and earning a 3rd place state finish in 2017. In 8th grade, she was voted by her teammates as the volleyball team captain. Emma comes from a community-service oriented family. She served as Goodyear, Arizona's All-America City girl representative at the All-America City competition in 2008 in which the city won the coveted award. She was the mascot for the Eddie Eagle GunSafe program teaching children what to do if they come upon an unsecured firearm. And she's been recognized at her school for doing good things for others. She's learning how to play the ukulele and spends her free time playing volleyball, drawing and hanging out with her friends.
