I love relating to people and helping them work through issues, so pursuing a Psychiatry or Psychology degree is very important to me. To put people in the best positions possible and help them be the best they can be is something I care about. It's the same way on the court; I form a strong connection and make deliberate steps to relate to all my teammates and commit to make them better on every play. Setter is a perfect position for me because I have the opportunity to connect with all the different players (passers/hitters) and have an influence. I think I'd be a good candidate to play volleyball for you in college because I have a passion for the game and a passion to make others around me the best they can possibly be. I'm upbeat, positive, and pretty intense on the court. I think I'm different from many other recruits because I'm going to start for my high school team as an 8th grader, and it's a high school that has won 10 of the last 15 state championships in Alabama. I also have a 4.1 grade point average, and have never made a B in school before. I'm also involved with an awesome volunteer organization in Huntsville, Les Juniorettes, where we support several charities in my home town, like Manna House, Botanical Gardens, Huntsville Museum of Arts, New Leash on Life, Santa's Village, and Huntsville Children's Museum.
