Meleah Craft '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Meleah Craft. Playing a sport in college has been my dream since I was a little girl. I've grown up around the softball park and volleyball court. Sports are just a really big part of my life. 

    I am an extremely competitive person which makes me want to strive and do the best I can to work with my teammates to win every game. I know you lose some games but that just means you come back fighting harder. Truly, I work really well on a team and leave everything off the court behind me. If I have learned anything is that volleyball is a very mental sport, so having a good mentality throughout the games you play makes everything so much better. It makes you want to strive for greatness.

    Also, academically I do not have a problem. I make all A's and have a 4.0 GPA. I plan on taking my ACT next fall. Academics are also a big part of my life. I always want to make good grades and be successful in that too.  

    My goal in collegiate level is to 1) make it there 2) make friendships 3) win championships and 4) have the best time of my life. 

    What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I work really hard. I am a good listener. You tell me to do something and I will do it to the best of my ability. I am not afraid to dive for balls. I work good with other players. I am a very supportive person. In all, I just strive for success and greatness.

    Things that make me different is that I am extremely dedicated to sports and finding a way to continue playing as I get older. I never let getting hurt stop me from my dream. I try my absolute best to achieve my goals.  

    Sports are my life and I never want to stop playing. I would love to take it to the next level in a few years.
